Let's make our community a better place!

Dear Telangana Community Members,
It is with great honor and humility that I serve as President of the Milwaukee Telangana Association (MiTA). I am sincerely grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the strong foundation established by our past leadership and dedicated volunteers.
Since its inception in November 2017, MiTA has stood as a proud platform for members of the Telangana community in the Greater Milwaukee area to connect, celebrate our shared heritage, and support one another. As the first Telangana organization in Milwaukee, MiTA reflects the rich cultural legacy, resilience, and progressive spirit of our people.
Our mission remains clear and unwavering: to promote, preserve, and perpetuate the cultural, social, and charitable values of Telangana while fostering unity within the larger Indian community in Wisconsin. Through cultural celebrations such as Bathukamma and Bonalu, educational forums, community gatherings, and charitable initiatives, MiTA continues to serve as a bridge between our roots and our present home.
As we look to the future, our primary areas of focus include:
MiTA is not just an organization; it is a collective effort driven by the passion, participation, and dedication of its members. I encourage each of you to actively engage, share your ideas, volunteer your time, and help us grow stronger together.
On behalf of the MiTA Executive Committee, I invite you to be an active part of this journey. Together, let us continue to celebrate our identity and uphold the vibrant spirit of Telangana here in Wisconsin.
Warm regards,
Chandrashekar G
